The most important supplements for this
type of child are those that support
digestive function, Chinese herbs that
strengthen Stomach/spleen energy |
|
13:17:36 |
RandallNeustaedter |
A really goo formula is Grow and Thrive
by Chinese Modular Solutions formulated

In general I recommend fish oil
supplements (cod liver oil in the
winter). |

For kids who are not allergic to cow's

It is interesting however that one of
the main remedies for whooping cough is
Cuprum that is known for its tx of

It depends on the child's age and
environment. I expect 6-12 month olds
with sibs to get colds. |

Older children may get 2 or 3, but not
ear infections or lingering coughs and

no worries sage. :) |

I am concerned about the lack of fat in
a vegan diet and the detrimental effect
on the immune system. Make sure she gets
saturated fats in the form of coconut
oil and DHA (from algae, Neuromins). |
|
13:54:30 |

Many immune support supplements come
from animal products, but astragalus and
other herbal formulas will work as well. |

is it inadviseable to attempt
homeopathic remedies without a
homeopathic doc's guidance (there are
none in my area)? also is there any
instance in which you would reccommend
getting a traditional vaccine to prevent
illness? |
|
13:56:04 |
RandallNeustaedter |
Colostrum is generally good for
everyone. If you are concerned about
dairy just use other measures. Colostrum
is not necessay. You can also get a
plain lactoferrin supplement that has
some of the benefits of colostrum. |

Eczema requires herbal treatment in my

topically the harder it is to manage
naturally. |

use cod liver oil from a source that
thoroughly tests its product for
contaminants. |

You can mix cod liver oil in a blender
with other things to disguise the taste
and give powdered supplements this way
as well. Just be sure to scrape the
sides of the blender for the oil and of
course try to get them to drink the
whole thing. |

I have ultra oils" - they do not contain
fish oils but are supposed to have all
the fatty acids, from plant seeds - is
this OK instead?" |

I will poke a whole in the fish oil
capsules and squirt them into things as
well. You can even put it into maple
syrup on a spoon. |

14:11:00 |

Plants generally contain a lot of
omega-6 or 9, and a small amt of omega
3, but not usually enough to be
sufficient. |
