Actually ... it's a sign video I found in my basement (no
idea where it came from?!) but it's really meant for parents
and it's very dry and boring. But because it's sign
language, there are three kids (6, 4, 2yo) watching as

Sigh ... when I dug it out of the box, I was excited
thinking it was a kid video because it had a stuffed bunny
on the cover. I was saving it for tonight. But alas ... I

Last summer when I was in North Bay I donated Vol 1 to the
Early Year Centre. The literacy specialist then went on to
develop her own sign language classes for new moms. The

I have an 11-month old who has attended 8 classes with me
and mom just bought the first set. She doesn't but on #3
because her son gets very upset and starts crying... mainly
when the Silly Pizza Song comes on... Ever heard of that

Yes, the first one did and so are 3 others. Now the people
who are applying all know more ASL than me (maybe?) - one
instructor is Deaf, the other had 2 years of an interpreting
program, counsellors from the Bob Rumball Centre for the
Deaf, etc. |

Yes, vonnie, I was quite surprised to hear she has done
that!! The library is fluent in French as well, and I find
as a rule if someone has another language they can pick up
ASL pretty easily. |
