Adopt A Mom is a group of mothers who have “been there
done that” when it comes to breastfeeding. These women
are volunteering their time to help out new moms and
moms to be on a one on one basis online through
education and support. |

There are currently 31 mentors in the community with a
total of 65 (!) years of breastfeeding experience. |

Right now we have 17 new moms and moms to be in our
program. |

We’re still working out our kinks and trying to get
things organized behind the scenes so we can open it
wide to even more new moms. |

We need more mentors, women who are well educated and
passionate about breastfeeding. We need women who can
give good advice and support and who know where to go
for good information. |

I think if we get more moms than mentors, it would be a
good idea to ask the mentors if they can handle more
